Case: Information Transfer

A 45-year-old female patient presents with persistent headaches and is referred for an MRI scan of the brain. The MRI is performed, and the images need to be transferred from the MRI machine to the PACS for review by the radiologist. After interpretation, the radiologist's report must be sent to the EHR system for the referring physician to access and plan further management.
